  3. I grew up with a lot of love for uncle chien. He wasn’t my uncle but I knew him as uncle chien. I remember as a child how he always had a smile on his face. I pray for healing for his family during this difficult time. I know how much he meant to my godfather, godmother And cousins Ruby and Andrea. He will forever be missed and loved. He will always be family and a great person that was part of my childhood. May God bless his family and friends and please know there’s an angel watching over all of us. It’s saddens me greatly but I know he is with my grandfather and I know he’s in a wonderful place with our father and mother…God

    A tribute to anh Chien,

Our group was the second generation of the Vietnamese American at UC Berkeley.
We recalled the old days when you were a permanent resident at the EE headquater.
We laughed, told each other jokes, and you slept on the couch overnight for the morning exam.
We also went fishing, caught nothing, but we had good times at the Berkeley pier.
You also took us to Pho Hoa for the first time in 1980’s, we all had two bowls !.
It is hard to believe that we knew each other over 30 years since the fall of Saigon.
We went fishing again at the San Pablo Dam, we had funs in the sun but no fish !.
Those precious moments and souvenirs have been being kept in our heart for life.
Your talents brought you to the rank of elite business man at the Silicon valley.
Nevertheless, you were a humble one and always kept a smile, and brought us joys .
Now, you are home with the Lord, in His good hands. We miss you anh Chien !
Ngan drove home today, but she still saved a 7th seat for you in Cadillac.
Your children spoke of their father highly as a hero in their lives !
Your friends are here for you and to say Goodbye for the last time.
May the Lord bring you peace and happiness at the Gate of heaven.

Your friends of the WW7 group.

  5. I’ve known Mr. Chien for several years through work, he was a very nice man and treated me very well. He had an aura of calmness that was contagious and put everyone at ease around him. My heart goes out to his family and friends for losing such a wonderful man.
